instrument developed specifically for RF testing of 802.11a/b/g WLAN
products, including MIMO and optional Bluetooth + EDR, such as network
interface cards, access points and embedded components. The test solution
includes LitePoint IQsignal™ Software Suite, the latest in vector-based
signal analysis and modulation technology.
WLAN
Manufacturing Test Solutions
LitePoint
IQflex™ 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN Manufacturing Test Solution is an all-in-one test
instrument developed specifically for production RF testing of
802.11a/b/g/n, MIMO WLAN and optional Bluetooth products. The instrument
replaces all traditional test equipment used in a WLAN production line and
integrates the functionality of a power meter and spectrum analyzer with a
vector signal analyzer (VSA) and vector signal generator (VSG) in a single,
small form-factor box.
LitePoint IQnxn Test System
LitePoint
IQnxn™ 802.11n MIMO R&D Test System features a multiple, synchronized vector
signal analysis (VSA) and vector signal generator (VSG) instruments designed
to characterize and test the latest MIMO WiFi products. The flexible system
allows developers, chipset vendors, and brand owners to test any and all
configurations, including 2X, 3X and 4X, by adding LitePoint IQnxn expansion
units.
Channel Emulator for SISO & MIMO System Testing
LitePoint
TrueChannel™ Emulator is a dual band, bidirectional, expandable, dynamic
channel emulator designed for 802.11a/b/g and 802.11n / EWC MIMO validation,
characterization and performance testing applications for use by chip
developers to develop, debug and characterize their chip architecture and
reference designs; product developers to design and optimize product
performance; and brand owners to help evaluate potential vendor product
performance.
LitePoint MIMO Dual-Band Channel Simulator
The
MIMO Dual-Band Channel Simulator box is used to create a basic 802.11n MIMO
air interface. The primary application for this product is to enable low
cost MIMO throughput testing at the end of the product manufacturing line.
DUT 1a and DUT 2a ports are typically connected to two antennas with near
field coupling to the device-under-test’s antennas. DUT1b and DUT2b ports
are optionally used to monitor the signals. The included 50 ohm terminators
should be used on unused ports.
The MIMO Dual-Band Channel Simulator box passively combines two RF input
signals from a MIMO reference transmitter creating combined output signals
for the device under test. DUT 2a and 2b signal is the sum of REF 1 and REF
2 input signals. DUT 1a and 1b signal is the sum of a 180 degree phase
shifted REF 1 signal and the REF 2 signal. The MIMO Dual-Band Channel
Simulator box operates with 2.4 to 2.5GHz and 4.9 to 6.0GHz frequency band
signals. The MIMO Dual-Band Channel Simulator box is part of a complete
802.11n test solution from LitePoint, including IQnxn MIMO Test System for
developers, IQview and IQflex for manufacturing and Q/A and the IQfact
family of production test programs for MIMO chip sets.
LitePoint WiMAX Tester IQmax

LitePoint
IQmax™ 802.16 WiMAX Test System is expressly designed to test the latest
802.16 broadband CPE products. Based on an integrated vector signal analysis
(VSA) and vector signal generator (VGA) architecture, the single-box test
system tests critical physical layer radio parameters for developer, product
verifier, volume manufacturing and quality assurance stations.
The system
interfaces with the device under test (DUT) RF ports through its integrated
VSA and VSG subsystems. Baseband I/O signal interface and analysis is also
supported. The dual RF ports are selectable for either Tx or Rx operation
and support the 2.15 to 2.7 GHz, 3.3 to 3.8GHz and 4.9 to 6.0 GHz frequency
bands.
IQmax
Link-based Test Unit
The LitePoint
IQmax™ Link-based Test Unit is designed to enable linkbased testing
of WiMAX DUTs when connected to an IQmax Test System. WiMAX subscriber
stations are typically designed to operate with a connection to a base
station, although chip suppliers may provide a special test driver to allow
testing without a link being
established. In the cases where
the DUT requires a “live” link to be present to test and calibrate the
receiver and/or transmitter section, the IQmax Link-based Test Unit along
with the IQmax Test System must be used.
LitePoint
Bluetooth Software Package

LitePoint
IQfact Production Test Software for Bluetooth
LitePoint
IQfact Production Test Software is optimized for the most popular Bluetooth
chipsets including Broadcom [link to datasheet] and CSR [link to datasheet].
The test programs are a result of LitePoint’s partnership with leading
chipset manufacturers, and offer wireless OEMs a quick, easy, and
cost-effective way to develop and test chipset-specific solutions, including
single-pass testing of combination Bluetooth and WiFi products.
Multiport MIMO
Test Adapter
|
The
Multiport Test Adapter (MPTA) is designed to use with LitePoint IQview
and IQflex one-box testers for accurate low-cost manufacturing testing
of 802.11n (MIMO) products. The MPTA enables testing of a MIMO DUT with
the benefits of both a close coupled control, fast RF switching test and
composite EVM test methodologies. Close coupled control allows the
Multiport Test Adapter to become an extension to the internal test
resources of the IQflex and IQview instruments enabling fast test times.
Combining both composite and fast switching test methodologies enables
full Tx and Rx manufacturing testing in MIMO mode along with accurate
EVM testing. Rx sensitivity testing for verifying MRC which verifies
MIMO processing. |

ZigBee
Manufacturing Test Software
|
LitePoint ZigBee® Manufacturing Test Software provides manufacturing
test capability for ZigBee 802.15.4-based products using IQview or
IQflex one-box test instruments. The package includes new API commands
and integration of Offset Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (O-QPSK)
modulation support into the LitePoint IQsignal™ Analysis Software (IQview
installations only). When installed, the ZigBee Software Package is
automatically recognized by the IQview/IQflex test analysis software and
the software integrates seamlessly into the test environment. The ZigBee
device under test (DUT) test commands are made through the chip vendor's
test control interface for fastest set-up times, while LitePoint
capture-once-measure-all hardware implementation allows full Rx and Tx
testing with very few signal captures for the fastest test times.
